Monday Gossip

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo could join Gooners in a swap deal for Thierry Henry. (News of the World) Pigs could fly! We think it is more likely that Henry and Eto'o would be a more likely exchange, although after his involvement with the "Lets Kick Racism Out of Football" campaign how would Thierry enjoy the racist support which blights many Spanish stadia?

Or Ronaldo could join AC Milan in the summer. (Sunday Express) More likely. He is getting booed by his own fans and a return to Milan would be a natural move for big Ron.

Man Yoo are closing in on a £60m sponsorship deal with an internet poker firm. (News of the World) Or is this a bluff to get a higher bid from someone else?

United will drop star striker Ruud van Nistelrooy for the Carling Cup final against Wigan. (Sunday Mail)

Sir Alex Ferguson wants to bring Argentina midfielder Juan Riquelme to Old Trafford. (Sunday People) Class act if they can get him, but will they still need a defensive midfielder?

Martin O'Neill and Stuart Pearce are set to go head-to-head for the England job. (Sunday Express)

Birmingham owners David Sullivan and David Gold could be about to put the club up for sale. (Sunday Mirror) Would seem a good time to sell as Brum City do appear to be on the way down...

John Gregory will find out in the next few days whether he will be given the Hungary manager job. (Sunday Telegraph) One of the most bizaare manager merry go round stories we have seen for a while.

Lpool are expected to firm up their interest in Citeh's Joey Barton following Mohamed Sissoko's eye injury. (Sunday Express)

Birmingham are interested in Brentford centre-back Sam Sodje. (News of the World) Who?

Gooners are lining up a summer move for Newcastle keeper Shay Given. (Sunday People)

Blackburn will sign Anal Town's Mark Delaney on a free transfer in the summer. (News of the World)

West Ham want to sign full-back Danny Mills from Citeh. (News of the World)
